Eligibility Criteria

Prenatal Benefit:

• Must be pregnant, resident of Manitoba, and have a net family income under $32,000/year
• Need a medical note confirming pregnancy and expected due date

Application Process

• Fill out the Manitoba Prenatal Benefit application form (available online, at health or community offices, or via phone).
• Attach a medical note from your healthcare provider confirming pregnancy and due date.
• Submit by mail or in person; if eligible, you begin receiving cheques in the 2nd trimester.

Appeal Process

There is no formal appeal tribunal for the Healthy Baby Program.
