Description
This program provides income and employment supports to individuals living on lower income and who have disabilities.
Benefit Amount
Single Person up to $1400 per month.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for ODSP income support, you must:
- be at least 18 years of age. If you’re under 18, you can start the application process up to six months before your 18th birthday
- be an Ontario resident
- have assets no greater than the limits set out in the program
- be in financial need
- meet the program’s definition of a person with a disability or be a member of a prescribed class
Application Process
If you are applying for Income Support, please note that there are two parts to the application process:
- Part one looks at your financial situation.
- Part two looks at your disability status.
- After you complete your online application submission a caseworker from your local ODSP office will review your application and contact you within 15 business days to schedule an appointment.
