An income-based prescription drug coverage program offered by Manitoba Health. You pay a deductible, after which eligible medicines are fully covered until the year-end.

Eligibility Criteria

• Manitoba resident aged 18+ with tax filing history.
• Deductible is income-based (from CRA).
• One-time enrolment covers annual benefit year (April 1–March 31) unless withdrawn.

Application Process

Fill out and sign both the consent and declaration sections of the Pharmacare Application and Consent Authorization Form and send it to Manitoba Health.

Appeal Process

Contact Manitoba Pharmacare office (phone or email) for deductible recalculation or coverage disputes. No formal tribunal; unresolved cases may escalate through Department of Health.
