If you are a low-income senior living in Nunavut, you may be eligible for the Senior Citizen Supplementary Benefit (SCSB), a monthly payment of $300.

Eligibility Criteria
To receive the Senior Citizen Supplementary Benefit (SCSB):
- You must be 60 years of age or older and resident in Nunavut.
- You must be receiving the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) or GIS Allowance from the federal government.
Application Process
To apply for this benefit:
Eligible seniors must complete their federal income tax returns and application forms for the Guaranteed Income Supplement and GIS Allowance each year.
