Description

The Senior Citizens’ and Disabled Persons’ Property Tax Relief is a program that helps seniors and persons with disabilities pay less or no property tax. Taxes are lowered depending on the location of the property.

Benefit Amount

In the General Taxation Area (GTA), the GNWT provides a 100% rebate to qualified citizens.

In the Municipal Taxation Areas (MTA), Municipalities are in charge of the program. You’ll need to contact your local government to find out more information about the Program.
